We are committed to protecting your privacy. Upon receiving the secure transmission of your Social Security Number it is immediately encrypted. Only the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number are available in plaintext for identification and account matching purposes. Your Social Security Number is available for decryption only by those officials who oversee the automated loading of personal information into student information systems, and only for that limited purpose.

Session 2 is structured around liturgical readings associated with each week of the session. You attend the full 5-week session, which includes afternoon Hebrew courses, or you can attend morning text study week by week. Review the details of Session 2 and indicate your preferences below.

(Note: Students attending only morning text study are billed by week. Per-week tuition costs decrease with enrollment in 2 or more weeks of the session. See the "Tuition" section of our webpage for details.)

Hebrew & Judaic Studies Background

In order to group students most effectively, we need to know something about your Hebrew and text background. Please be as honest and accurate as you can.

Additionally, all Nishma candidates must also complete the Hebrew Placement Exam as part of their application. You will receive instructions for this assessment upon submission of your Nishma application. If you have any questions about this exam, please contact our Hebrew department at hebrew@jtsa.edu.
